Stovetop Holiday Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound of pitted chopped dates
1 stick of butter
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup of coconut

Stir in the vanilla. Add the Rice Krispies and coconut and mix thoroughly. Let mixture cool enough to handle it and form it into about 1-inch balls. Dust them with cocoa powder rather than powdered sugar when they are done. Substitute almond flavoring for vanilla for a unique flavor combination.
